Shipping Policy

Le Pasefika Boutique

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Le Pasefika Boutique. Below are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

1. Processing Time

Processing time refers to the time it takes to prepare your order for shipment. It does not include transit time (the time the carrier takes to deliver the package).

Shipping times on orders vary depending on the type of product ordered:

  • Ready Made Orders: Orders for items currently in stock are processed and shipped within 3-5 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding major US holidays).

  • Custom Sewn Orders: Because these items are made specifically for you, they require more time. Custom orders will be processed and shipped within 2 weeks from the date the order is placed.

 

Important Notes on Delays

  • If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery during peak times.

  • If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you immediately via email or through Facebook Messenger to provide an update.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates (Domestic)

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We primarily use Priority Flat Rate Shipping for all domestic orders.

Priority Flat Rate Shipping:

  • ​[3-5] business days

  • 1 Item - $11.50

  • 2 -3 Items - $20.00

  • 4-6 Items - $29.00

Note:  Delivery estimates are for transit time only (once the carrier has received the package). Delays can occasionally occur due to carrier factors outside of our control.

3. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

  • Carrier: We primarily ship all orders through the United States Postal Service (USPS).

  • Confirmation: You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) once your order has officially shipped.​

  • Tracking Activation: The tracking number will typically become active and visible for updates within 24 hours of receipt

4. International Shipping Policy

We are pleased to offer shipping to the following countries: Canada, United Kingdom (UK), Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.

  • International Shipping Method: We primarily use USPS Flat Rate International.

  • Estimated Delivery Time: Transit time is typically 7-21 business days after the order has been processed. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary significantly depending on the destination and customs processing.

  • Shipping Rates: Rates are calculated at checkout based on the number of items in your order and the destination country.

  • Customs, Duties, and Taxes

  • Le Pasefika Boutique is not responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, or other import fees applied to your order.

  • All fees imposed during or after shipping (tariffs, taxes, duties, and brokerage fees) are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • By law, we are required to declare the full value of the package contents on customs forms.

International Priority Flat Rate Shipping:

  • ​[10-15] business days

  • 1 Item - $50.00

  • 2 -3 Items - $100.00

  • 4-6 Items - $130.00

5. Damages, Lost, or Stolen Packages

Le Pasefika Boutique is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. Once the package leaves our facility, the shipment carrier assumes responsibility.

Damaged Shipments

  • If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier immediately to file a claim.

  • You must save all packaging materials and damaged goods before initiating a claim.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your package tracking shows it was delivered but you have not received it (stolen or missing package), please take the following steps:

  1. Check with Neighbors: Verify if a neighbor may have received the package by mistake.

  2. Contact the Carrier: Contact the specific shipping carrier (e.g., USPS) immediately to report the package as missing.

  3. Contact Us: If the carrier is unable to locate your package after their investigation, please contact us for assistance in filing a claim.

  4. Email: onlineorders@lepasefikaboutique.com

  5. Social Media: Message us directly on our Facebook feed.

We will work with you to resolve the issue once the investigation by the carrier is complete.

6. Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Making Changes

  • Please double-check and confirm your shipping address prior to submitting your order.

  • If you notice a mistake, contact us immediately at:

  • We require notification within 1-2 hours of placing your order to attempt an address change. We cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order has been processed.

Returned Packages

  • If a package is returned to Le Pasefika Boutique due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the package.

  • We will contact you upon receiving the returned item to arrange re-shipment and payment for the new shipping fee.
